I'm in the market for an 1150RT but, the images of the one I have my eye on don't show DIN socket up front. Does anyone know if there should be one?

Many thanks

Don’t think there is a power socket up front.
Speakers, pockets vents and FID etc…but surely there is plenty of space to fit one quite easily.
I can only remember the one at the left hand footplate.

RTs were before "connectivity" so only had the two at the side for things like heated clothing... There are so easy to fit though and all you need is a fused link from the battery to the socket ... The hardest bit it routing the wires behind a panel...👍😄

Thanks everyone. Strange but I was looking at an 1100RT and that has a DIN socket on the LHS above the switches. No mater, the bike I was coveting is now sold. Back to the search.

There’s an unused live plug behind the dashboard taped to the loom, just plug the din plug into it :D

Is that the blue plug, front left side? And…..is it switched or permanent?

That’s the plug used for the stereo connection if fitted. It’s switched live.
Brilliant, thanks. Mine never had a stereo or speakers and that answers a switched live question for an Oxford Fuseblock I’m fitting before my panels go back on. (y)
