My favourite location and bike hire company , Canary Ride, have just added one black and one white to their fleet.

Yup, the 1250GSA is twice as comfortable. It’s bearable for 2 hoursI rode a non-enduro spec 12 G/S at Bahnstormer this morning. My conclusion was that it's a Sunday morning bimble bike and not a replacement for a GS or GSA. Great style, fantastically responsive and rorty engine and a better quickshifter than my GSA but uncomfortable after an hour.
That’s what it looks like to me. The GS, GSA, Triumph Tigers, Africa Twins, Super Teneres seem to be the longer day type of bike. I’m ok up to around 550 mile days on my Rally Pro.I rode a non-enduro spec 12 G/S at Bahnstormer this morning. Thankfully we are all different , I found the R12 as comfortable as my old R1250GSA , that said I rarely sit in the saddle for longer than 90 minutes at a time even on a long tour . I’m either stopping for fuel , coffee or the toilet and usually all three ;-)

It's a tough category, as not a true off roader, nor a tourer, but as mentioned, for a bimble or a European tour, with short blasts (which many of us prefer nowadays) it will be a cracker.
Buffeting will be there, if you're with a group of GS riders going down a motorway, so another excuse to take nice roads.
I’ll be avoiding both motorways and toll roads, I prefer a more relaxed pace and seeing the country and people not the motorway and service stations

£18800 ???? That’s ridiculous. BMW are really milking the PCP idiotsThe stance and style of the enduro in the khaki desert colour with the 719 pack is epic in the flesh. But at £18,800 when my '24 1250GSA Triple Black with 5k miles is worth perhaps £16ish privately, it wouldn't make sense to switch.
I owned an original 2014 NineT and the G/S reminds me of it. Hard seat, hard suspension and poor for any distance riding but oozing with character. It was the epitome of a bike. Buying an older NineT Urban and adding Ohlins/Wilburs and the Unit Garage kit would be much better value for a similar experience.
And if I read correctly you have the BMW OEM cylinder head guards?Akrapovic was £860 , just ordered a set of the Wunderlich Engine bars from Nippy Normans
Wunderlich engine bars R12, R12 NINE T stainless steel

And if I read correctly you have the BMW OEM cylinder head guards?
Will those engine bars fit with the guards on?
If so that will have solved my next purchase!
Bike is looking great btw.

There have been numerous posts recently about pcp etc. it would seem that quite a few buy? Rent? Bikes this way. I’m not one of them. It’s probably ok to have a large monthly payment providing you can guarantee that you have enough coming in each month. My monthly income changes monthly. I would not sleep at night with this debt hanging over me.Not everyone buys on PCP some of us still buy outright and I certainly didn’t pay anything like £18.8K - I didn’t go for the option 719 spec

A white R12 GS with heated grips, cruise control and TFT display is £16k. A 1300GS TE with similar spec is over £20k. A Triumph Tiger 900 Rally is £15k. A equivalent Duke more expensive. It’s not cheap but not outrageous either. What do you think is a fair price ?£18800 ???? That’s ridiculous. BMW are really milking the PCP idiots
Not a bargain either when you can get a Voge/Kove/CF Moto for less than £10kA white R12 GS with heated grips, cruise control and TFT display is £16k. A 1300GS TE with similar spec is over £20k. In no way knocking the new BMW which I like the look of but surely the best comparison price wise would be the Triumph Scrambler 1200 XE - Pre reg one here for £12.5KA white R12 GS with heated grips, cruise control and TFT display is £16k.
