where is best place (internet) to get the infamous fuel pump controller? - warranty is up in 6 weeks and I've decided to carry a spare

How about a BMW dealer?

I got mine on Saturday morning, £49.91 inc o-ring.
When I picked it up the girl at the desk asked if I was going somewhere? 'Yes', I replied, 'why do you ask?'

'Oh, we get a lot of people buying controllers as a back up 'cos they're always packing in!' she said.
