Hi guys, can you of you do me a favor and stick your bike on the centre stand and let me know if you get any knotchyness (made up word) if you rotate the rear wheel in neutral

I've had the final drive on mine replaced under warranty and I've just noticed that the replacement has a tight spot in it - it feels like a stretched chain would and there seems to be a knock from inside the casing... it might be something else going on, but I'd like to get to the bottom of it and I can't remember how it used to run :(

Mine has a tight spot when rotated due to the brake disk being warped. Maybe its worth prising the rear pads slightly away from the disk surface with a screwdriver and rotating the wheel again.

The rear drives have a lot of backlash (including the entire drivetrain) which you can easily feel when rotating the wheel whilst on the centrestand.

cheers mate, I've checked it again this morning and it's not so bad, so maybe its just something warming up...

I'm fairly sure that its not the rear break or disks, but you never know...

I'm going to keep an eye on it for now and see how it goes...

thanks for getting back to me though.

If I ease my rear pads off the disk a bit the wheel on mine when turned still has a bit of a tight spot - no noise though. Mine is an 07 with 15,000 miles.
