R1200GS (K25) - flaking paint on forks.

Does anyone have any recommendations on how to repair the flaking paint on the bottom of the forks?

I guess I can either attempt this myself or perhaps send them to a professional. However I don't even know who I would send them to.

Would I sand the whole lot or just the affected area.

Sorry for noob questions, not done this before.

Hammerite satin black, and hammerite silver if you want to do the silver/ali surface.

Indeed, I used hammerite smooth silver on my screen brace when it corroded badly and the paint was peeling. I could barely tell the difference. Years later and it hasn't corroded again.
