R1200GS Pannier Mount Locking mechanism replacement

My pannier was knocked off in a minor prang recently - I've finally got around to replacing the broken part.

On the inner side of the pannier there are 4 small crosshead screws - these hold a covering piece in place and also the Locked Indicator slider. This shows these pieces removed and the broken mounting lock.

These are the removed pieces - the smaller piece has the green "indicator" and normally has a spring in place to force the indicator tape to show through a small hole when the latch is "locked".

The new replacement part - note the spring in the lower left hand corner - this acts against a pivot which is activated by a cam on the end of the long red piece that runs the width of the pannier. Also note the spring on the pivot bar - this hooks into small retaining arms on the black piece shown and also on small retaining arms on the pannier body.

Inside the pannier are 4 10mm nuts - these hold the pannier locking mechanism in place.

The outer side once the locking mechanism is removed. The red cam is attached to the piece that runs through the pannier and is used to "lock" the main catch in place.

This shows the indicator slider in place - a little tricky to fit since there is a spring underneath it which is held in place by a small slot on the slider.

The final covering piece held in place by the 4 crosshead screws - needed a bit of brute force to get into position over the red catch - while trying not to dislodge the indicator slider.
