R1200GSA Heated Grips

My previous bike was an R1150RT and a F650GS twin, I have also ridden R1200RT FJR1300 an 1100 Pan and a 1300 Pan. My GSA is fabulous, just one small thing that could be better, the heated grips they are poor in relation to other bikes.

If its cold or raining I can barely feel the benefit from them.

Is there any way of improving their heat output???

Is it a fairly recent gsa ? i think the grips are quite feeble too especially in winter, others say their bmw grips are red hands toasty, took mine in and it came back from the dealers that they are normal heat output.

Honda's heated grips are far better than BMW in respect to heat output. Though they would seem to fail every 25K.

BMW heated grips still can't produce the same heat on the LHS grip as on the hotter RHS. 15 years of this.... can't be that difficult.
