Granted but you don't know why the rider was on the wrong side of the road and without knowing why you still apportion blame. Not bothered what he was riding, so no fishing from me...............you should know me well enough by now................
I see so much crap riding, it boils my piss
We're all fallible, so vulnerable ................ that's the real point
Still, If I get slated for my POV, so be it................
As a rider meeting him coming towards me................I dread to think of the outcome
We had a similar incident up here a few years ago, 2 sportsbikes head-on, only one rider was the innocent party and he stayed on his own carriageway, both dead though

Granted but you don't know why the rider was on the wrong side of the road and without knowing why you still apportion blame.
Has the UKGSer accident investigation team been informed? I hope the sandwich makers are on standby, popcorn for dessert?

Nasty. The rider was already wrong side of double white lines, always baffled when I see that kind of road position without good reason.
Hope he is okay anyway.
'Without good reason'
Perhaps he did have good reason, perhaps he didn't. We may never know!?!?
But at least JB gives us all a standard to aspire to . . . . .
what ever happened to slow in fast out ? looks like its been changed to fast in ..oh shit !!!
just hope the rider and the driver are ok..
I agree, a bit of a timely reminder to us all if any was needed just how vulnerable we are on a bike
Thanks for the condescending quote.
Do you really think its an aspiration to be on your own side of the road, on a blind corner, with double white lines? Surely not.
Perhaps he was practising 'spirited' riding?

It is easy to be judgemental but we do not know all the facts and maybe should not be so quick to make judgements
I am comfortable in my assessment based on the video that the rider was at fault
Indeed, I've been riding for 24 years and made a numpty error the other day. I was on a highway doing 100kph and looked down at the dash for a split second and when I looked there was a van in my face. The traffic had slowed down in front of me and it all happened very quickly plus I was a bit tired from all day riding.
Got myself together and braked, head checked then swerved...I guess that was the "experience" part kicking in. I was quite angry at myself for letting it happen in the first place though.
