Hi there folks, I was told there is no engine sync, throttle body sync, with the R12000LC engines..?
Is this true?
Thanks in advance.
Is this done on the computer??

The throttles on hexhead models for example, are opened by one Bowden cable from the twist grip to a splitter box wherein a pulley device operates a separate cable going to each throttle. The synchronisation procedure is to ensure that each of these cables opens their respective throttles at the same time. Needed as cables wear and stretch.
LC models are ‘fly by wire’ meaning the throttles are opened electronically. Therefore synchronisation is pre set and not something subject to adjustment, as far as I know. Although, a 12 litre engine may be different.:green gri

There is a procedure hidden somewhere in the depths of this forum to sync the throttle bodies on the WC. If I remember correctly you need to;

Turn on bike with throttle closed (do not touch it), wait for the start cycle to complete then turn bike off without starting it. Then open throttle fully and turn on bike, wait for it to go through cycle then turn it off without starting. Finally turn on bike, start it and let it tick over for 3 minutes without touching throttle then turn off.

Someone might be along to correct this if I am wrong but I think this will do the job.
