r1200r handle bars

had a test ride on a r1200r today and liked it a lot
apart from having to lean forward too much

has anybody raised the handle bars up and back???????

You appear to have strayed into the 1200GS section with your very brief trip report, followed by its question. The engine is ostensibly the same but the bike itself very much different from the rufty-tufty GS variant.

You may well do better and pick up a wider (and maybe, who knows, more knowledgable) audience here:

is there not a R section if not why

thanks for the links but i cannot open the first,

second link i had not found.

a problem i just found out is that when the bike is tested here it may not pass, as they where not fitted then it came into ch.

That's the end of that cunning plan then.

Though you might now wonder how so many Swiss registered significantly altered motorcycles manage? Sidecar bikes, for instance Where there's a will, there may well be a way.

looking for a change

wapping which swiss web site are you looking at?????

as every canton has a different take on it

as i read it if the part was not fitted when the bike was made then it has to have a certificate that it meets swiss regs

i could take them off for the test thats one way

still not sure if it will be better for me or i could get a new GS
