Recently in one of the threads someone was saying how fantastic the r1200rt is.

Just taken one in px with 2700 miles on an 05 plate(oe05kku) going to sell it for £9495.

makes my hp2 look tiny but may have a test ride just to be nosey :D :D

THE PANZER

Nice phots, fantastic bike. I miss my old RT, but love the GS. :thumb

The Panzer [ my 1200 RT ] is a great bike , but if I wasn't such a lightweight and softy I would have gone for the 1200 GS [ test rode one and thought it was a good bike , but just lacked the creature comforts I crave .... weather protection ] .

Just got into this photo lark!

I hate to think what sort of photo' s you'll be taking when you're more experienced!!!

Great shots.

I've got a 1200RT and a 1200GS and I can't bear to part with either. Wish I'd part-exed the GS when I had the chance then I wouldn't be agonising about whether to sell it.

Steady Eddie, Awesome photos clearly you have a talent for it. I need to work on my photography skills which in comparison are not that good. :(
Keep posting photos; some GS shots would be nice. :thumb

Camera and stuff

Nice sharp pic's and good use of depth of field. What gear are you using?

David

My camera is a Konica Minolta Dimage Z5 . I am most definately technically challenged , and just put it on auto , point and press .
Those two photos were tweaked using Picasa 2 from Google - it took me ages to get the hang of doing this sort of thing , and to be honest most of the time I don't - I prefer to see photos as they were taken .
Favourable comments have been made by a few folk who have seen my photos , it appears I have an eye for it , - I wish my bike riding skills were at the same level !!

If you have a look at advrider , you 'll see some of my ride reports with photos [ Steve1962 ] .

The Panzer has proved to be a great bike for me , as I am happy to ride miles and miles - a few weeks back I rode up to the Lake district for the day from Oxon , and got 490 miles in by the time I got home .
