Do they leak to the point of having pool's of fluid on the floor ?
I don’t think they leak that badly, it’s described as a weep. Mine are ok from what I can see.

I went and took a look at mine and all seemed well as far as i can see. Let it develop, if its going to happen im not worried, mothership will replace

Why cant they fit brembo’s on the front, they should be identical to the 17 plate versions with the hill hold

Mothership decided to change over. Dont know why but im assuming its down to money. However the new Hayes ones are in my humble opinion, far better than brembos.

That video has done the rounds, its not a real test, too many different variables. End of the day, cost or whatever, if BMW fitted inferior brakes, they would be in a whole world of shit. So they must be fit for purpose. Brembo have also had their fair share of issues with bike callipers, just not on BMW. I am happy with the brakes on my bike, they stop the bike, feel is good, so what's the problem

No problems here. I happen to think the Hayes brakes are better than the brembos, so afaic all is good
Yep the new brakes had the 7 day Spain test and surpassed the old brakes , never faded , never boiled or lost feel . The brembro brakes did suffer from fade .
I have a set of excellent quality Brembro in a box if anyone is interested as I fell for the same thing before I tested them and decided to change them as soon as I could , I didn't need to as they are better .
Interestingly tho the discs now rusty which never happened with the Brembro , could be the pad material , who knows.
