A friend is wanting to part with her May 1972 R75/5.

It's based in Ringwood, Hants, on the edge of the New Forest.

It's been her's and her husband's (RIP) bike for circa 30 years and is kept garaged, but now largely unused. I visited and we rolled the bike out and started her up; she sounds sweet and well behaved. It's not been restored and has plenty of patina. The Frame and Engine Numbers don't match but that is because the original engine was taken out to 'tart up' to start a restoration or to go through it. The original crankcase is in boxes along with many other spares - gearbox, rear hub, front forks to name but a few. So plenty of potential. Pictures below of the bike and some of the spares - there are many boxes. I was tempted but I have too many bikes to play with at the moment.

I thought I'd see if there are any budding R75/5 owners out there or if anyone wants to take on a project for the winter, before just putting an advert. I'd put you in touch with the owner. Bottom line is the bike is on the road, running and is an Historic Vehicle tax class.
