Is this seat an original seat ?? It looks like it's badly fitted and rattles a bit and the gap to the back of the tank seems quite big??

Cheers

I'm not sure the bloke I bought it off seemed to recall it may have been ex police but he inherited when the original owner passed so I don't rightly know . I've seen the chrome rails at Motorworks - it needs something to break up the huge backside!

Chrome grab rail missing. :thumb2

Hey - sod that, someones nicked the entire exhaust!

Looks aftermarket to me, you can maybe bring it closer to the tank a bit by adjusting where the hinges mount.

Very nice looking bike by the way :thumb2

7 seats

I can only see enough seats for two !.......where do the other five sit ?

(please feel free to comment if I have made correct use of the exclamation and question and marks)

It looks very much like a after market seat to me.
has it got a metal or a fibre glass seat base? There isn't much if any adjustment via the hinges to,loose that gap.

My 100/7 has one of those fitted. They're useless. Motobins were selling them years ago. They have mounting points for the grab rail glued to the base, unfortunately they're pieces of wood. If they haven't rotted away by now then the chances are the screws will no longer screw in. You wouldn't trust a passenger hanging onto the grab rail if it did attach.

The only option for a genuine style seat is an oem but they're over £400

Good luck with getting that to fit. Though they may have changed the design. I bought one last year from Motobins but it had to go back because they designs wrong
