Well it's been a long time coming but I dug the R80RT/GS bitza I built last year out of the back of the garage and decided to have another little tinker.. This time taking the project a little further (bit of paint etc)..
Here's what she looks like now.. I still have a few odds and ends to sort out.. petrol tank could do with some new paint, I need to fit some warning lights on the dash, make/find a rack to fit behind the seat and figure out the exhuast system (I have a Y peice, high level link pipe and short stubby race style can ready) but it doesn't quite clear the swing arm
(anyone know of someone local to suffolk who can bend the Y peice out slightly?).. either that or I need to find some stubby cans for a low level each side system.
A big thankyou to all those who have helped (advice and some good deals on parts).. Hopefully she will be finished and mot'd again this weekend.. Which will give me a couple of weeks to give her a complete shake down before the ride down for the airhead wee-kend!
So.. your thoughts ladies & gentlemen.. Have a ruined a perfectly good RT?
