R850r fuel pump area issue.

Hello folks.
Sorry if this is not the appropreiate bike but its not unlike me 1200 gs.
Have a 2000 r850r here that won't start.
Traced it down to a faulty fuel pump.
Mechanic told me to order new pump/filter/hoses/clips and seals and £240 later now tells me I need a pump mounting plate,that holds the fuel sender also,because the wiring on the plate is damaged.
Does anyone know if any other models plate is the same and/or where I could get a decent second hand one ?

You can get one from Here

The fuel pump flange is unique to the 850 and 1100 R because they have no fuel gauge

Perhaps Steptoe may have one?? LINKY

Also you have James Sherlock Motobins and E bay

In fact I "think" Smellyoldboots of this site (from Dub) has a spare tank that was leaking

Howdy. Sorry but I bought a tank from sherlocks but it had no internals I'm afraid.

Flange is £60 from Motorworks - plus a new seal at around £3
