Radiator cover decals.

Found the below for the radiator covers on the 2021 GSA triple black.
They are silver and a little out of place as standard so was looking to get them to ‘blend in’ a little better with the triple black colours.
Anyone used anything else?

Mine were also hydro dipped black carbon effect, great improvement imho

I didn’t think you could powder coat them as they are plastic…

On the GSA they are aluminium, hydro dipping is a process where they lay a graphic sheet on a tank of water and then immerse the prepared part into the tank , they can coat anything from wheels to crash helmets . In the case of mine the panels were rubbed down given a coat of satin black paint , then hydro dipped with the carbon effect film and then given a coat of satin black lacquer cost £100 for both panels

On the GSA they are aluminium

Neil, the side panels on my 2019 GSA look like aluminium, but mine are plastic with an aluminium looking film on them (like a factory applied hydrodipped layer of brushed silver effect film.)

The ones on my bike have been spray painted satin black by the last owner with poor surface prep and the black has stone chipped in places to reveal the silver below, then been touched up poorly (presumably by the selling dealer.)

Thanks for the heads up about the hydro dipping, I might enquire about sending mine by return of post to get them done properly. Yours look superb in the photos they must be even better in the flesh.

I bought some fake carbon wrap from Amazon.

Was enough for 2 attempts each but I managed to get it looking fine first time.

I ordered a set from AliExpress for my R1250GS Triple Black but the silver parts have a green tinge to them, not fitted and sat on the shelf. Other than the colour being wrong the quality is great.
