I don't know if its been mentioned on this site yet but I thought I'd let you know that Mark - one of Rainbow's mechanics, died after a short illness on April 17th 2009. He was 38.
Mark was the quiet one in the workshop, never said a lot but when he did it was short and to the point, didn't mince his words and took no prisoners.
His last project was making his own streetfighter from a Honda X11 which he'd finished recently. One of his ambitions was to have it featured in Back Street Hero's or Street Fighter magazine, something I think his girlfriend is planning to complete for him.
Mark's funeral will be taking place at Herringthorpe Crematorium in Rotherham on Thursday 30th May at 11am.
Rainbow will be closed that day so that staff and friends may attend.
A big thankyou to customers who have beared with us during this difficult time.
He's very greatly missed downstairs by all of us.
