Took my bike to Rainbows' today.
My 1150 had developed an oil weep from the drive shaft gaiter. Thankfully my bike is still under the BMW used bike warranty.
Turns out the pinion oil seal was leaking.

Point of my thread?

Booked my bike in through Rob on the service desk. Efficient, polite and thorough.
Courtesy bike offered.
Bike repaired on time with no problems. No charge.

2nd Bike now purchased from Rainbow, have had nothing but excellent service from the team there. Just like to take the opportunity, in a world full of sharks, to recommend some good guys. Thanks for listening!

Saw you 'doing your thing', was going to visit but whilst waiting for the bike SWMBO blew the housekeeping on a pair of boots! Wouldn't of minded had they been bedroom boots, but they weren't.

Don't get on with normal ear plugs, maybe your kit is the answer.

Will make a point of visiting next time.

Popped into Rainbow myself yesterday on the way down to the Classic Mechanics Show at Stafford and I must say I was impressed by the set up and how professional it appeared.
Good choice of new and s/hand stock, excellent choice of clothing and what appears to be a proper parts and accessory department.
Also the staff were polite and non pushy and actually spoke (unlike my local dealer) .
It also appears to be a proper motorcycle dealership rather than an add on and afterthought to a car dealership.
