Just had my first experience of using RAM products including their excellent Aqua Box which is suitable for PDA's and MP3 players.
Now I know not everyone is into music on the move, but as one who is I was fed up with throwing my Ipod into a pocket or tank bag so decided to try this as a solution which gave the potential of controlling the damn thing with gloves on and at the same time lose the trailing wires and worry if the pocket was really waterproof.
The Aqua Box is an encased holder with seal and flex-lens so you can touch through lens to operate buttons. Power, earphone and accessory cables are routed through self draining baffle design to keep moisture out yet allow device to breath and stay cool.
The Aqua Box flex-lens can be easily replaced in seconds if scratched or damaged.
I mounted the box on the bars using a RAM U-Bolt Mount, I had intended to mount it on the bar above the clocks but it would have conflicted with the GPS.
Very impressed with the quality of the product and it works perfectly with the Ipod in place allowing control of all the functions.
Big thanks to RAM man for taking the time to talk me through the various mounting option.
