Random Guzzi Shit

I think I'm in the minority in this view, but I'd keep it as an 850. They lose a bit of grunt, but an 850 revs better, is less lumpy, and doesn't have bodgy turned down spigots on the cylinders to make them fit the crank cases.

bore the crankcase out to fit spada barrells/pistons.

stick a P3 cam and use the T3 carbs.

skim the flywheel by a about 1/2 off

does everything nicely :thumb

I was watching a California 3 on ebay the other night, same colour as mine, but 4 years older on a G plate. 10 minutes to go and it was £1,800, I went for a cup of tea, and watched it shoot up to £3,668:eek:

Ebay bidding fever:blast

Is it one of Corsa's speedshop specials? cos it looks like the picture was taken outside the old shop, and they moved 2 years ago.

dunno, as i've thrown Grumblemonger away now.

i'm pretty sure it was to do an article on new factory colours, but i wouldn't put money on it

I've worked on 2 Sfida's - including getting the Paralellogrammo pivots drilled and tapped and cross drilled so that different spherical bearings may be used and then can be greased. As they came from Magni, you had to strip every link off, clean, grease and rebuild.

rode one of 3X's sfidas. most abiding memory - throttle sticking full open

I called round to see Joe Caruso today. He's been busy again. Makes a nice fix for the 4v Guzzis to get round the oil pump and gear problem
