You'll get used to the servo....it's mainly the slow speed snatch that is a wee bit of a pain at first...

Hope you have a good trip in ze Farter land...

Thanks Mike, I thought the servo lag may have been due to the rain but sounds more like a quirk of the system. The 1150 seems so stable like my old R850GS... it's good to be back on a large oilhead, last of the over wieghts
