Seven Bike turned up for lunch...good turn oot considering the climatic conditions....

Nice run both ways, the return being particularly Damp...cheers Ronno..:thumb

A request to oor American Cousins...

Get hold of your 'Big Chief Thunder Clap' and get him to stop doing his fekin Rain Dance, time to concentrate on his Indian Summer now...we've had enough already! ....:rob :D

What a brilliant road and run. Pity about the rain. It was a like the Clans Run revisited :( It didn't stop all day.
Nice turn out by Coolcarbon, arcboutant, Cunning Fox, Andy Cam, Andy T, me and Scottboxer (who was arriving just as most of us were leaving). The wee tea room is such a quaint wee place that you can't really hog the tables for too long. Lovely grub and location though.

It wasn't a day for stopping for photshoots. Pity. The scenery is probably stunning (when you can see it :augie ) Great roads :thumb2

Note to self: Do this run again very soon.

Lucky Lad's!

Luckily;)I was working today!! - otherwise I'd have been daft enough to go up to Rannoch:eek: in this weather.
Glad there was a decent turn-out though:thumb

As Coolcarbon says -"Roll on the Indian summer":clap

Cheers.....................Grizzly:beer:

Ferr dingin' doon!

Should have worn my wellies. I thought about it but could not be bothered changing out of the boots. Bad decision. Good to meet up with folks anyway and the Kenmore / Amulree road is a belter. Even better when not flying through low cloud I expect.

Was that you CC that introduced yourself as I arrived? (Earplugs!)

That was Ronno...

I was sat on the Black thing waiting for said Ronno to find his Bloody Keys...:augie :D

Sorry we didn't get chance to blether...but we'd have either drowned or been eaten alive if we'd taken we'r lids off again...:D

Next time....:thumb2

Great to see you all again, went back via Trinafour o'r the wee hill Aaaagh lodza twisties :blast Pi**ed it doon all the way haem tae Dufftown:)

wet wet wet.........

the only item of clothing not soaked through were my socks - they were wet :rob

bril day made more interesting by the rain and company.

Ronno will have to organise another run there to see the views this time :aidan

So it pissed doon eh Ronno?
Shuda come to Blairgowrie.
Apart from the odd very light drizzle, it wiz a braw day. The sun even tried to come oot wance or twice.
The bacon rolls and tea were jolly scrumptious too (the guy from Coupar Angus brings his caravan).
Auld bikes are no sae bad eh????????

Well that was the longest ford I have been through..... from Banchory to Rannoch Station 123 miles in all only to be met by midgies and tossers. The rain didn't even keep the midges down. My lovely Rukka jacket proved that Rukka are not so wateproof after all and I was soaked to the skin.

Nice to see everyone again and give my new steed a run out (very impressed with it :thumb2- much pore planted than the 1200 but i'm not keen on the servo brakes:(, time will tell).

Didn't get my camera out as its only rated to 3 meters underwater.;)

Nice to meet you ScotBoxer hope your hands thawed out.

Like everyone says its a gem of a ride out. Only 3 weeks before my tour of Germany, this was a good test of real rain:(

Have Fun

AndyT:cool:

I had a long lunch in the Lauriston Farm Restaurant with 16 family members, ten of whom had travelled up from Leicestershire (Wife's family :augie).

Not a bad lunch, but I kept looking out of the window at the bucketing rain and thinking . . " I'd rather be at Rannoch Station" :thedummy.

Glad to hear you all had a good time.

Hope 'next time' isn't too far off.

Bob.

Was looking good Andy...:thumb

You'll get used to the servo....it's mainly the slow speed snatch that is a wee bit of a pain at first...

Hope you have a good trip in ze Farter land...:D

Well I am almost ashamed of being a big softie and deciding not to come out and play just because it was raining raining raining and I had brand new tyres on the bike in preparation for the run to Italy :Motomartin. I was looking forward to catching up with you guys again and also hoping to give my new ultimate ear monitors a trial (thanks CC for the tip on getting early delivery they seem to be just what I was after) maybe next time :thumb
