Reactolite goggles/ riding glasses

I went back to Moto Central yesterday and tried on the Shoei open face with the drop down visor, but no buttons to attach a peak... the JO model is it? I looked in their mirror and the shell is HUGE, even though I am a 'small' (55-56cms). Yes it was comfortable and light, but the size of it... I just couldn't bring myself to finalise the deal. I left with some new summer gloves instead, perforated goat skin, RST jobbies with no velcro on them! proper brass snap buttons. I came home and gave them a good coating of Renapur to soften the leather so they will mould more easily.

The hunt continues, but I think I will be back to the Bell 500 Custom in carbon. Sometimes it is 'better the devil you know'.

Does it matter what it looks like? Seriously I'd have thought comfort, safety and features (& OK affordability!) were the higher priorities, and looks a distant last?

In hot weather I often ride with my Schuberth C5 front flipped up as it's just nicer especially at slower speeds - and I can still flip down just the sun visor if needs be. It might make me look a bit more of a dork than normal but I'm happy so who cares ?
