Hi Moony,
I fitted Armstrong disc's to my XR650R, seemed good quality and stopped the bike as they should. They looked good as well.
So I'd stick one on my GS when needed.

I've had them on a couple Yammys and also a rear on my 12GS . I really rate them and they didn't corrode and look manky after one winter like the OEM Yammy discs.
