been keeping an eye on a small amount of play in my rear bevel drive , doesn't seem to have got any worse over the last few hundred miles.
But had an hour free this afternoon so split the bevel to look at the bearing, all OK, so re-shimmed it to take out the play, went from a shim size of 0.78 , up to 0.90 , lets see if the play appears again, and if so , how soon.
Bevel has only 12K miles .
