My early 2014 l/c gsa has been slightly binding on the rear wheel now and then. Noticed when pushing bike backwards into parking bay. Shit salt says I to myself I'll sort it tonight. Long story short calliper is free but freed it anyway. Went to pump out pistons to bring pads back out to position and pedal is not lifting. I have to lift it. Return spring is there. Anyone come across this? JJH

Probably salt crud around the pivot, hose down well and 3 in 1 or WD40 if you must.

Yes had exact same issue on a 2013 remove rear brake lever and re-grease the pivot point it's seized. I used ACF50 grease never had issue again. You'll prob notice rear brake light is on too.
It's an easy job and all will be good again.

My gsa doesn't. Honestly it's brilliant. The salt is piled up on it and it's wearing well. Is there something wrong with it. Will BMW be looking for it back to check why. Maby they used too much paint. Seriously I'm happy with it. 51,000 km. JJH

It's horrible stuff hope the ACF50 holds up to it.

PS photos 2 days apart removed the checkered graphics today and replaced with BMW one.
