Just checking to see if anybody has had this problem and a quick fix solution before I start ordering parts.

I've a rear brake light failure that seems to be isolated to the sensor mounted at the top of the rear brake master cylinder. The bulb and line is good from the push connector, but the line from the top of the cylinder to the connector doesn't register on a multimeter. So I'm guessing the sensor on top of the rear master cylinder is knackered. It looks like something I can unbolt and check, but am I likely to see any thing of of concern.

Any thoughts????

It's not a serviceable item so I had to replace mine, and it's unique to the x bikes so not cheap (comparatively speaking)

It may start working again, mine did. I still opted to replace it as I had the bike in bits.

I ll opt to replace it If the original works I ll keep as a spare There is a bloke breaking one on fleabay
