I was out in the Yorkshire Dales today, and stopped for a break in Masham (home of Black Sheep annd Theakston's breweries). As I was about to set off again I noticed the brake failure warning light flashing rapidly. It continued to flash as I moved off, so I stopped to investigate.
A helpfull guy, who was also riding a GS, spotted a small plastic cover on the floor, under the bike. It was the brake switch cover. The cover had come loose and got jammed between the brake pedal and the switch, hence the brake failure warning.
It's one to watch out for as it could cause the brake to operate continuously - not good. I'll be either modifying or replacing it with something more secure.
Apart from that no other problems. A great ride on a brilliant bike.
