06 GS 24k... When it was in for service I was told the rear disc needs to be replaced... Has anyone ever had to replaced a rear disc??
They have to inform you when it gets below a certain percentage of wear but I'm not sure of what it is.Thanks.
The bike is under warranty so they can change it.
Also, my front pads "need to be replaced"; they are very worn on the inner side, nearest the wheel. Is it unusual to have such uneven wear?
Would I be better to get pads from Steptoe rather than from the dealer?

Thanks.

Thanks guys.. I just assumed the disc was under warranty, but thinking about it they didnt' say it was!!
Steptoe looks like the best option..
Cheers,

Mine has got to 48k so far and MOT guy said he was happy with it last September. It's pretty worn though and I'll do it soon.

My bikes' front pads do exactly the same, uneven wear, outside good for lots more miles, inner side completely worn. Does anyone know the cause of this, and how it can be avoided ?
Seems to me you'd get more kms/mls out of the pads with even wear.

), it's not a problem at all.
