Checking the GS out the other day I noticed the rear light was out but the brake light works. No problem I thought, I'll change the bulb.
Bulb changed and I had the same problem. I've cleaned the terminals in the unit and using a tester can confirm there is voltage there but still nothing. Today I even took a wire from the unit directly to the bulb (just in case the contact wasn't touching the bulb) and it still won't light.
Just when I was resigned to removing it to see what was going on I put the ignition on again and this time it worked! It seems that sometimes when I put the ignition on it's ok and sometimes not. It works on the parking light and when it is on no amount of wiggling the unit or wiring will make it go off so I don't think it's loose connection, not near the unit anyway.
Any ideas?
