bought a 16 led light off a nice man in Shang Hai (ebay) for £16.
Looks the part BUT...not canbus friendly so yellow triangle of death on dash.
Anyone got a quick fix resisters etc, seems a shame to junk,. it as its as bright as Steven Hawkins.
ps mounting bolts 10mm to short, but sorted that.
Cheers boys.

without knowing the total wattage of the LED's I cant recommend a value but a resistor to ground to increase the total power used would sort out the lamp warning. You need to increase the power drain to what the original bulb takes which is 5W for the tail. Not sure if it monitors the stop part but that's 21W. Using resistors will not save you any power but will give you the advantage of the long life of the LED's. There are other cleverer ways of doing it with electronic circuits but I don't know what the circuits are and you would probably be cheaper to buy a friendly LED tail light or a second hand one from a later model.

Cheers

Thanks Marki will try and measure power drain of leds and Iam sure Google will be able to do the rest. IAN.
