Has anyone had any experience of these attachments sold by Touratech, do they work, are they worth the £20 price tag?

rear end

try an make your own its only a piece of metal ,formed at lower edge ,trimmed an fitted behind your number plate.
Ive seen on bikes these do little to reflect anything ,shite still gets everywhere.

I use one (not sure what make) and would say get one/make one. It does not stop all of the spray but the vast majority of it.
Also see Rugged Roads.

Being only a cheapskate member I can't post photos here so a few words will have to do. I made my own spray deflector/GB plate carrier from a piece of Lexan bent to suit. It's far bigger than the commercial offerings and it does absolutely nothing to cut down spray. It cost me nothing, which I can live with. Paying 20 beer tokens for not very much would be another matter as I'm not convinced that the commercial equivalents are any better than my home-made effort.

Depending ...

... on your colour preference, go to Macdonalds (Red) or Burgerking (Brown) and trouser one of their plastic trays; cut three of the lips off and trim it for width, bolt underneath your numberplate and the jobs a carrot :thumb

Or you can pay 99p for a roller-tray and do the same thing.

Thanks for all the replies, if ime not too much mistaken they seem to be a waste of time so ill be keeping my beer tokens, ta very much:thumb

It isn't that they're a waste of time. In fact, for such a small modification (when the crud-catcher thing is removed), they really do prevent a lot of spray.

It's just that the same effect can be achieved for a lot less money than TT charge.

Owners of 1200's may not notice much difference because their bikes have a habit of spraying shit out of the sides, especially on the left. :P
