Jet washing is fine as long as one stands back to reduce the blast, which does kinda destroy the whole point of a jet washer to some extent - my garden hose pressure is high enough to do the job so don’t normally bother with the faff of connecting up the Karcher and trailing the mains lead through puddles

The foam attachment filled with car shampoo is good for giving the bike an all over coating, then rinse off either will the jet wash at a distance or just the regular hose attachment. Seems to work well no corrosion on either my 1150GS or the 1200GSA (TC).
