I normally run my rear suspension on 2 clicks from the softest.
However, I today adjusted it to cater for a passenger, but it just seemed to keep turning. I got to about 12 clicks, and although the resistance incrased, it kept going.

Is this normal? How many clicks of adjustment should there be?

Cheers

There are too many clicks to be useful on the rear, use the marks to ascertain a setting you are comfortable with. I find with my size/weight 20 clicks off max is most suitable for me tho.

Ah! but your size and weight = rider - passenger and 2 weeks luggage for most of us puny mortals........
:D :D :D

I suppose it depends on your riding style and what you use the bike for. I have mine set only a couple of clicks off max at the back and on the second lowest setting at the front. This gets the bike away from the "chin up" stance it may have left the factory with, sharpens the steering and suits me just fine.

However my bike is used mostly for weekend fun and may not be right for everyone. Have a fiddle go for a run and see - just take note of your original settings though in case you make it worse.
