and this as well...
My rear shock is leaking and is set to the highest setting on the adjustment ring.
I'm going to drop it to the lowest setting once I have purchased the appropriate spanner and see how I get on with reaching the floor, but I will need a new unit pretty soon. I haven't determined if it is a standard or replacement unit yet. It's obviously not an Ohlins or anything fancy but might it be a Hagon? Is there an easy way to tell what it is or what model it is from? I understand one from a R100R might be the way to go if it's still too high for me.

best way to check you have standard size on maybe.

Got a nice WP rear unit for sale for an r100r, looks to have had very little use and comes with a remote adjuster. wanting £275 for it.

Regards Trevor Downing.

I've wound the suspension off and it's still too high for me. :(

Distance between bolt centres is 490mm.
It's a BMW unit, part number 1 457 893.

Trevor - I'm considering it. :thumb2
