rear wheel removal rockster

hi folks ,am i missing something,on removing the rear wheel on my rockster ,it seems to be that the the silencer has to be removed in order to get the wheel out ,not enough gap to get the wheel out .
tell me i have missed something .

Not had a rockster but I'm presuming it has a centre stand. Just get a plank of wood and slide it under the middle of the bike then put the bike up on the stand (which is now on the plank). Now you have more room to get the wheel out underneath
 
It's much easier if you remove the silencer. The Rockster has a wider rear tyre than the GS which reduces the wheel to silencer clearance. It's only a couple of bolts and it makes wheel removal easy.
 
Soak the retaining nut in wd40 or the like if it looks like it's not moving.
