recalculating route issue

Hi , I have recently purchased a zumo 500 with euromapping on an SD card

I am off to France next month and am buisily planning a route per day via waypoints on the mapsource software. I would like to stick to my routes to pass thro specific villages and points of interest

If I go off route the zumo will auto recalculate and I assume , not necessarily to get me back on the exact route I have planned.

Will the zumo recalculate to my next waypoint or to my final destination

any help greatly appreciated

it will use the waypoints.

my favorite moment with my ZUMO 550 when on holidays
is when you are in a city or riding towards a busy intersection

just as you approach the junction with multiple exists normally leading in vastly different directions it says...

"recalculating"


and then stays that way till you choose the wrong turn!!!!

then it comes back and tells you to turn around!!!
