Hi Folks

Is there anyway of checking whether a bike has had recalls issued and if they've been done ?

I'm picking up an 1150GSA shortly and would like to be able to check more for peace of mind than any thing else.

to find out recalls check the vosa website, to find out whether they've been done (and what they were if you don't want to bother with vosa) get in touch with your local motoradd dealer, give them the reg number and they'll be able to tell you.

cheers Johnny, it looks like the GSA has only had one recall which I don't think applies to my bike wrong year of manufacture.

Only Recalls on the DVLA site but your bike may be part of some of the BMW quality enhancement campaigns, in other words recalls that are not dangerous so the DVLA need not know about them. As Joheny says call your dealer they will tell you what is what.

I'm actually getting the bike from my local dealer, I just like to get confirmation from an independant source as I don't generally trust dealers 100%, it's not a very good attribute of mine but it's held me in good stead in the passed.
