Recco Reflector device

Just in case people are not aware of these amazing devices Recco Reflector

No batteries or anything you just hang it on your jacket of backpack and thats it.
you make others aware you wear it and if you ever go missing SAR can use their Recco device to find you
Quite common for people trapped under snow or under trees/bushes as the detector can see through what the human eye cant.

Only Used in Scotland in the UK at the moment but its still rolling out.

Another tip is when being buried by an avalanche try and keep both hands near your face, so that you can make a large enough air gap. Then once you clear some snow away, spit, what ever way the spit fall is down, start digging the other way.......Up! Never tried it, but seems plausible!
