Roger i said many times. I do not want to use an LC because then i sould fit to each bike and it is too much trouble. Maybe i buy one just for test to my bike.. Have you any (second hand) LC to send to me or send to phil for make the test ? i pay for it.
Hi John, I would like to send you an extra or a spare but I don't have one. If you wanted to wait a few months I might replace my LC-1 with an LC-2 but I'm not sure yet. Once you have one I'd be happy to help you analyze the data and develop tests to find what you want to find.
Your bike is a R1100GS so I understand why you don't want a GS-911 but on the R1150, where you claim Lambda maps that control Closed Loop AFR (which I see no measurable or documentary evidence of), you could borrow or rent one maybe from someone near you. Then you could confirm that the bike is in Closed Loop when you think it is, and then use the LC-2 to show the small, Closed Loop fueling ramp-up, ramp-down. You can see it accurately with the LC-2 (or LC-1).
The GS-911 would also allow you to see the Spark Advance data and Dwell data for the R1150GS Dual Spark. Although Dwell time probably doesn't matter too much on the single-spark bikes, it is too short on the dual-spark bikes after you change timing.
