Recommend me a bike mounted camera

After my SMIDSY a couple of weeks ago, I guess a bike mounted camera could be a good idea. I'm looking for something that can mount to the bike, and be left on the bike. It has to be small, HD, and record on a loop. I don't want it to record my speed though!

Any recommendations?

+1 for the camera. You can fit it out of sight to the bike and leave it on, you can fit another rear facing and just connect to a laptop to download any footage

The Roadhawk looks very good. Does anyone know if they do a second mounting kit, so I can transfer the camera between bikes?

Yep, I'm ok. The car I was overtaking on a country road decided to overtake the car in front of him, resulting in me taking his mirror off, and having to go up the grass verge. At about 60-70mph.

Result was one broken handguard on the XR, a new pair of underpants for me, and around £1000 damage to the car. A close call.

Bear in mind the Innovv K1 has dual HD cameras, a GPS tracker and a button that you can press to save certain events. Does the Roadhawk have that? If I recall correctly the Roadhawk kit was expensive and down on spec.

I get nothing from recommending the Innovv kit, it's just I spent a long time researching this stuff.

Nope, I don't want a helmet mounted camera.

Re the riding, I knew it would be my fault (on here ), but even the riding gods on here wouldn't have avoided this one. The fact that I managed to go up the verge, and keep it upright just proves what a truly awesome rider I am.
