Recommend me a pair of Trail / Enduro gloves

Hi JB,

Those Klim gloves look great. The Dakar glove would probably suit my summer riding needs. The Inversion glove could be just right for my summer trail riding.

I have Klim Dakar for summer which are great. I also have the PowerXross for when it is colder and wet. Again, great glove that feels a bit big initially but as soon as you start to ride you completely forget you have them on!!

Sealskinz look waterproof? Do they get hot and sweaty in the heat of summer?

To be honest Rich we haven't really had the weather to find out, but I don't think they will. I just wanted a lightweight waterproof glove and am going away from buying bike gear in favour of stuff like this. My bike boots fell apart a while back and I now ride in my walking boots (took them to the Picos last year) and may just get some large shin pads to wear under the trousers.

My only experience with Alpinestars is that I find they come smaller than any other glove I've tried, especially in the fingers. My suggestion would be to go to a Klim supplier and try them on. If that's not possible I find them similar to BMW gloves with regard to sizing, maybe a visit to your local BMW dealer would be helpful.

Definitely try on the klim before you buy any, I wanted the powercross for winter but they felt to long/big in the fingers for my liking, hence why I stuck with the spx. (Love all other Klim gear though, quality).

RD, the spx alpinestars are only the same price as powercross etc and the protection they offer is far superior to IMO.
