Well for £60, thats a bloody good price I have to say..

For anyone using the MSR's take a tiny bottle of meths or medical alcohol and use that to prime it instead of petrol.. it saves on the sooting up the stove.


Sounds like your trangia is the same as mine, new burner units are about a £10 or less in some places. Mine left the roof our landy in africa at speed when my rucksack came open.. dough!.. ,luckily someone in the back spotted fall and we recovered it from the raviene. The base was badly dented, but post the expedition i managed to scrounge a new base from a reject set.
They really do take some killing..

nate you need to look at optimus nova same as msr but the main differance is the pump is aluminium and does not get affected by petrol like the msr also you will need a fuel priming bulb from a marine/chandlers shop this will allow you to draw fuel from your bike tank
