Regular Hants/Surrey ride 2

That puddle looks far to big for me to miss.....get yer cameras ready (and yer tow rope).....count me in

I went into the puddle so fast the water went over my head. I was absolutely drenched.

BTW it is the correct protocol to splash the ride leader. :augie

Sorry Dave !!

Just done this one last weekend, brilliant outing! Pics here and on map here.

London Lane, north end :)

 How deep is that !!!

Last Sunday I went in until the water was up to the bottom of the seat of the DR-Z, when I chickened out and pushed it out backwards. That was in the right-hand rut; the middle may be quite a bit more shallow but as you can't see it there's every chance you'd slip into either of the two tracks, potentially even dropping it. And I don't fancy snorkelling around in that water looking for me bike. :)

I am really sorry but I am going to have to pull out of this too. Been out all day in Surrey with the TRF and my back is objecting :(

Just back from the gym and pulled a muscle in my lower back. Ferkin annoying as I did exactly the same thing beginning of Jan. Stiff and v sore so going to have to cry off I'm afraid. Apologies. Mike.

I'll be there; Newlands Corner, 08:30. Will bring the bike on a trailer though, it's a long way from Staines and there's no point in wasting my AC10s if I've got the means to travel otherwise.

I've not left the car & trailer at Newlands Corner before, will it be OK? Do you have to pay? Normally stop at Ranmore Common in the free car park. :thumb2
