It's the same as blueprinting the engine....
Sorry. I'm on the phone.
Sorry. I'm on the phone.
FWIW I don't think the hexhead boxer is particularly effected by exhaust tuning because it's likely to have only a small valve overlap (I say "likely to" because I don't know the actual figures). The removal of cat will allow the pipe to flow more freely. Combine that with a re-map to give a better fuel/air mixture and away you go.
Is that him on the left?

(an RR on it's own), £360 ( good value though compared to general farkling) and finally the major stumbling block - BMW SELECT !!
Well I had mine done today, up from 85bhp to 103 at the wheel, and aprox 20ft/lb more torque. Deffo worth the cash the bike runs better and pulls harder great fun. Not noticed mpg gains but I've been spanking it today![]()

That sounds like some decent numbers..
But I just cant decide on the remap or the PC way for my 09 GSA..
As the remap is a permanent thing (kinda), whereas the PC can be removed re-tuned, tweaked in an instant (almost).

absolute tosh I challenge you to find the unit and/or untidy wiring on mine. Fitted by Hammer n Tongs in Warrington. Excellent job.PC is untidy with the extra wiring and the connectors are not very waterproof.
