Remapping

You could time it to coincide with the GS event in Dent @ the end of May and have a proper mini break....:D.....just a thought like.....;)

Haven't looked at that yet..... But I'm on it as we speak.

If there's beer, it might just work.

I fitted an Akra end can and when I booked it in for a service they offered me a K & N air filter for £15 extra.
When I asked about resetting the fuel injection I was told a remap would be done as part of the service.
Came back a far better bike pulls 6th like 5th before, well worth it £263 12k including valves.
Maybe not as good as hilltop but I needed a service anyway.

YES

I'm in Northern Ireland and really want the hilltop treatment.

For me it's either Ferry to Scotland then Hotel and return.
Or overnight Liverpool ferry and home via Scotland ferry. Either way it's an overnighter and £150 inc fuel.

I phoned Geoff and discussed the ECU only option. Price still £360 including secure postage.

So, If I'm gonna do this, I'd prefer that the remap was specific to my bike, not a genetic map.

I do hope to do it in spring, but to do it right it will probably cost me about £500 because of my location.

Fit a PC 5 problem solved and if you sell the bike at least you can recover some of your dosh unlike Hilltop remap. Thats what im going to do in the spring. Mind you i have a Dyno guy not 50 miles from me.

The remap is the more elegant method, but the PC route has it's merits.

With a PC - spend extra time coating the connector terminations and preventing possible water ingress.
