Anybody removed one , which way was easiest/quickest, front or top]
mine has abs/servo unit fitted

I found it easier to take it out of the top (i'm not even sure it would come out of the front TBH), mines also got servo abs but this is behind the alternator so not in the way. Took the tank off and moved the control units and mounting bracket out of the way. This gives you acess to the four mounting bolts. I removed the belt covers at the front to get access to the belt. Remove the electrical connections and slacken the mounts then the belt comes off without a struggle.
