Remus baffle out -v- Police

I've got the baffle still in at the moment as I'm concerned about the insurance implications of having an illegal can.

Even with the baffle in the noise is miles better than the standard can. I have the Y-piece also and that in itself didn't make enough noise difference for me although it did make the engine run much smoother.

No fuelling problems at all.

The only disadvantage is that it's not quite as quick off the lights.

Do you mean it bogs down a bit? Or there's not as much torque when you move off?

I'm not too worried though - I dont light it up too much anyway and I'm just soooooo bored with the sound ( or lack of it)

Seems to bog down a bit on take off but it's not a massive problem. All gone away after about 3 metres. I'm not sure what the cause is but I notice that lots of sportsbikes seem to be slow off the traffic lights.

thats cos most people try to start from idle .

sportsbikes need revving to produce power.

as does the GS - just not as much
