I've bought the Revolution version for my ADV. Anyone got advice on how to remove the baffle (for lagitimate reasons of course). I've been told to remove the screw, but I can't find a screw at least not one that a screwdriver would fit.

Welcome to the site, maybe a brief intro in the Newbie section might have been a better first post. :nenau

Never the less, stand at the rear of the bike looking at the tail piece, now look underneath the pipe that exits the main silencer.

You will see a M5 domed Allen screw, just undo that and simply pull the insert out with a pair of pliers, its that complicated.:thumb2

But whatever you do, please dont ask what oil it takes.....

It may be a rivet that needs to be drilled out, to be replaced with a bolt if you ever put the baffle back.

Dam, forgot that it might still have the rivet fitted, sorry!:o

In which case just drill the rivet out, maybe remove the can first though, save the ""spent" rivet end dropping inside the can.

Not that I have ever done that of course. :augie

I'll give that a go ta.

Sorry this was my first post I'm just impatient.

I have posted a short intro since.

Maybe I can think of more amazing and intreging things to add to it, but I'm not in that place at the moment!!:blast

S'cuse my ignorance, but does it just require a common or garden drill with a metal bit?

Mr Wapping's advice to me:

"Using a normal hand drill, work up from 3mm to 4.5mm then use a pair of long nosed mole grips to pull the baffle out."

Your can should have arrived with a replacement nut and bolt affair (mine didn't) for when you need to re-fit the baffle.

If you gently warm the exhaust the baffle comes out a lot easier least it does on mine
